Monday- David asked Nabal if he could have whatever was at hand. Nabal was shocked and angered by David. Then David told 400 of his men to get their swords and march with him to see Nabal. Abigail took much food and drink to David. She did not tell Nabal what she was doing. David did not like Nabal. When Abigail got home, Nabal was drunk, so she did not tell him about David. When he was sober, she told him and he had a stroke. He was paralyzed for the next 10 days, then he died. David was glad when he found out that he was dead. David married Abigail.
